Longtime IDDBA president passes away

Carol L. Christison, president and chief executive officer of the International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association (IDDBA), died on March 4.

For more than three decades, Ms. Christison led the association as in-store bakery/delis became mainstays in supermarkets, mass merchandisers and club stores and replaced mom-and-pop retail bakeries in many parts of the nation.

IDDBAs Annual Seminar and Expo eventually became one of most popular conventions for retail, in-store and food service bakers as well
